Warranty Policy

At Poolwise Padbury, we are committed to ensuring that every product and service we provide meets your expectations and complies with Australian Consumer Law (ACL) under the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth).

Your Rights Under Australian Consumer Law

Our goods and services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.

These statutory guarantees apply regardless of any other warranty and cannot be limited, excluded, or modified by us. Nothing in this warranty policy excludes, restricts, or modifies any right or remedy you may have under the ACL.

Manufacturer Warranties

All products supplied by Poolwise Padbury are covered by the manufacturer's warranty provided by the relevant brand or supplier. These warranties are in addition to your rights under Australian Consumer Law and vary by product, brand, and product type.

Products we supply may include, but are not limited to, the following categories and their typical manufacturer warranty coverage:

Pool Pumps & Motors

Most pool pumps and motors supplied by us carry a manufacturer warranty of between 2 and 3 years, covering defects in materials and workmanship under normal residential use. Some premium models may carry extended warranties of up to 5 years. Always refer to the product documentation for the specific warranty term and conditions.

Pool Filters & Filter Media

Pool filter tanks typically carry a manufacturer warranty of 3 to 5 years against defects in materials and workmanship. Replacement filter media (such as sand, glass media, or cartridges) are generally consumable items and may have limited or no manufacturer warranty. Filter parts including multiport valves are typically warranted for 1 to 2 years.

Salt Water Chlorinators & Chlorination Systems

Salt water chlorinators supplied by us generally carry a manufacturer warranty of 2 to 3 years on the cell and control unit. Some brands offer extended cell warranties of up to 5 years. The warranty is conditional upon correct water chemistry being maintained as specified by the manufacturer, and may be voided if water parameters fall outside recommended ranges.

Pool Heaters & Heat Pumps

Pool heaters and heat pumps typically carry a manufacturer warranty of 2 to 5 years, covering defects in materials and workmanship. Titanium heat exchangers and components may carry separate or extended warranty coverage. Warranties are subject to correct installation, commissioning, and ongoing maintenance in accordance with the manufacturer's instructions.

Robotic Pool Cleaners

Robotic pool cleaners sold by us typically carry a manufacturer warranty of 2 to 3 years, covering defects in materials and workmanship under normal residential use. Consumable parts such as brushes, wheels, and filters may not be covered under the standard warranty or may carry a shorter warranty period.

Pool Lighting

LED pool lights and associated components typically carry a manufacturer warranty of 2 to 3 years against defects in materials and workmanship. Warranties are subject to correct installation and do not cover damage caused by incorrect electrical installation or water ingress due to improper sealing.

Pool Covers & Rollers

Pool cover blankets and rollers carry manufacturer warranties that vary by product and brand. Cover blankets typically carry a pro-rata warranty of 5 to 10 years, while roller frames may carry a warranty of 2 to 5 years. Warranty coverage may be conditional on correct installation, use, and storage in accordance with the manufacturer's recommendations.

Chemical Dosing & Automation Systems

Automatic chemical dosing systems and pool automation equipment typically carry manufacturer warranties of 2 to 3 years on electronic components and control systems. Sensors and probes may carry shorter warranty periods due to their consumable nature. Warranties are subject to correct installation, calibration, and maintenance.

Pool Equipment Parts & Accessories

Replacement parts and accessories carry manufacturer warranties as specified by the relevant manufacturer. These warranties vary depending on the part type and brand, and you should refer to the product documentation or contact us for specific warranty information.
